Freshers' Matriculation Ceremony at the Faculty of Arts, TUKE
On Thursday, 24 September 2026, the Faculty of Arts at the Technical University of Košice (FU TUKE) held a matriculation ceremony for its first-year students. The ceremony symbolically welcomed the new students into the academic community of the Faculty of Arts of the Technical University of Košice. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the faculty management, led by the Dean, Assoc. Prof. Mgr. art. Ing. Richard Kitta, ArtD., Vice-Deans, Heads of Departments, academic staff, and other members of the FU TUKE academic community, who together welcomed the new generation of students to the faculty.
The official ceremony was followed by an information session focusing on opportunities for students to actively participate in the life of the faculty and university, contribute to the organisation of events, and take part in international mobility programmes, particularly through the Erasmus+ programme. The first-year students also learned more about the opportunities offered to TUKE students by the European University Alliance Ulysseus and about the activities of the UlySA student organisation.
We wish our new students a successful start to their academic journey, plenty of creative energy, inspiring encounters, and opportunities to make the most of everything their studies at FU TUKE have to offer.
We bring you a photo gallery from the matriculation ceremony.
