The "Music at FUTU" Finale: Join Us for a May Vinyl Evening with DJ Teo
The Faculty of Arts TUKE cordially invites you to the final event of the "Music at FUTU" series for this academic year. Come and enjoy a unique vinyl show by the experienced DJ Teo, which will transform Studio F12 into a space full of dynamic rhythms and sound collages.
Following the March session on shellac records and the April finger-drumming improvisation, we are returning to the essence of vinyl culture this May. Our guest will be DJ Teo, originally from the Czech Republic, who has been an essential part of the Košice music scene for nearly a decade, regularly performing at major festivals and cultural centers like Tabačka.
What Can You Expect?
DJ Teo has been dedicated to vinyl DJing for over 25 years. During the evening, he will present his specific approach – a vinyl mix showcase focusing on 7" and 12" records. His specialty is small 7-inch singles with short playing times, which he mixes into a fast-paced "sound collage."
His sets are never rigidly pre-prepared; they are a live reaction to the atmosphere of the venue and the energy of the crowd. You can look forward to:
- A multigenre mix – progressing from slower rhythms to an energetic finale,
- Analog skills – lightning-fast record changes right before your eyes,
- Active listening and dancing – a gradually accelerating tempo (BPM) that won't let you sit still.
